Aromatherapy & Natural Oils
The art of aromatherapy can be traced back many years to Egypt, Greece and Rome where essential oils were valued for their healing properties. The scents of natural essential oils can be relaxing and help to reduce stress - yet there is no prove scientified evidence that aromatherapy actually works. The prevalence of so-called aromatherapy air fresheners is testimony to how many people enjoy the natural smells of vanilla and lavender in their homes.
Natural oils can be irritating to the skin unless diluted with a carrier - for example, as a skin massage product. Take care when using them and, as a rule, remember that you only need a few drops.
