Review of Healthy at 100
by John Robbins

If I am honest, this is the most life-changing book that I have read this year.

It gives an astonishing amount of information that challenges the very beliefs that we have in our society about what to expect from aging.

John looks at three societies for whom it is "normal" to live healthily and disease-free to an old age - and takes some of the lessons from these to apply to our own culture.

Not content with that, he summarises some of the most relevant and substantial research conducted over the past twenty or so years, and shows what that could mean for our society if we were to truly embrace it.

The China Study

Much of what is written in John's book makes reference to the massive China Study which has given massive insight into what should now constitute "healthy eating" for our nations.

Diet for America

This book is the result of Johns extensive research on preventing the common diseases associated with aging, such as arthritis, alzheimers, cancer, heart disease, high cholesterol and many more familiar problems.
